چکیده

Polygonaceae familyasının türü olan Rheum ribes’in taze gövde ve yaprakları Lübnan, İran Türkiye’nin doğusunda sebze olarak tüketilmektedir. Son zamanlarda farmakolojik alanlarda kullanılan bu bitkiden Asya ülkelerinde saf ilaç materyalleri üretilmektedir. Çalışmamızda, ribes kısımlarından etil asetat, hekzan, metanol su çözücüleri kullanılarak 10-100 mg/mL konsantrasyonlarda hazırlanan özütlerin in vitro fitokimyasal, antioksidan antibakteriyel aktiviteleri incelenmiştir. Çözücülere bağlı ekstraksiyon verimi değişmekle birlikte en yüksek (%25.3), total fenolik (0.80±0.00 mg GAE/g) flavonoid içerik (0.321±0.00 RE/g) 100 konsantrasyonda özütünde belirlenmiştir. özütünün DPPH· süpürme aktivitesi %91.10±0.51 kaydedilmiş olup IC50 dozu 10.50 mg/mL’dir. En Fe(II) iyonlarını şelatlama %49.70±3.10, indirgeme kapasitesi (0.19±0.00) süperoksit anyonu giderme (%39.20±2.40) hekzan özütlerinin test bakterileri üzerinde aktivite gösteremediği Saf gösterdiği 9.00±1.00 14.50±1.50 mm zon çapı aralığındadır. inhibitör etki ile S. aureus’a karşı gözlenmiştir.
